I use Arch btw. 😝And I would likely never had done that without archinstall. And ... I'm just going to install it on my new laptop, just as you did here. It's already running well and has been for some time on my desktop PC. 😊

Thank you! I am using a Sony ZV-E10 as my main Camera, with a Sigma 16mm F/1.4 lens. Microphone is a Shure MV7X. All is recorded in OBS using an Elgato Cam Link 4K (although I consider recording on the internal SD-card again, since the quality of the footage would be better). Lights are provided by Elgato Key Light Minis, since I don‘t have a lot of space.

Nice intro video on archinstall. I find it great for a quick arch install. Btw: you don't have to include networkmanager and its applet; when using Gnome or KDE that is an option in the networking submenu of the archinstall script. Thanks for the vid; keep them coming!

It's good for office and light programming. Would not use it for gaming or virtualization though.

I always get a pipewire-jack error message near the end of the install: pipewire-jack and jack2 are in conflict

Edit: install seems to work now without audio server. Let's hope I can fix this later...
