I wouldn’t put the LED strip where you placed it. You will have uneven light distribution if you place it where you did. I would recommend putting it on the marquee itself. I show how to do this in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nZKxkp1onL9sY5o

I finally got around to attaching mine (same version as yours in this video - I know that The Arcade Game Factory have released newer versions since this video came out) and this video was a big help. I don't seem to have the same visible line of light that appears in this video (I made sure all the screws were done up tightly when putting it back together - including the two screws at the top of the monitor, which weren't mentioned as being re-attached in this video).

Just installed my Rampage marquee and it looks great. I struggled with getting one of the side screws to go in correctly, and the cab didn't want to cooperate with fitting back together, but after a few minutes everything literally popped into place. The left screw is hidden by George on the graphic, but yeah, I can see the one on the right. Doesn't really bother me. Seems like there's really no wrong way to place the LED strip.

Hi love youre video I have a question concerning not the marquee but the bezel . I have a street fighter II and im converting it in a multicade with pandora box and i wanna change the bezel (I dont really like the street fghter design) I would like to put the mortal combat bezel but before order it to arcade 1 up I wanna be shure the dimension are the same , at there site they only tell the outside dimension. I saw you have bot machine , if you have time can you verify for me if the inside dimension of the graphic (The clear area of the bezel) are the same . I make the mistake before to buy the galaga bezel ....dont fit at all ..screen not in the same position ..Doh.. I already install a marquee galaga and next I gonna try to find sticker of different games ,for a multicade its gonna be nice Thank you for youre time

im confused, bezel? are you talking the clear part that goes over the controls? they are different because the button layout is different

@@8-BitEric Sorry for that ,didnt know my self before i heard the word from arcade modifiers and its the way they call it at the site arcade 1up , Its the plexiglass covering the monitor ,on the 1up you can simply unscrew 4 screws and replaced it

Some cie sale the graphic sticker to put on top of it (Again didnt give the full spec) and im scare to butch it so i prefert change the hole plexiglass with the graphic already install, and actually arcade 1up sale those bezel complete the same price approx of the simple graphic

I want to upgrade my MK2 machine with the light up marquee and also I would love to know how to upgrade the audio. I had to be the first one in May to get this, and of course they released in September a new revision of the MK2 arcade1up with a built in light up marquee and also a speaker jack if you wanted to add in your own speakers - I have a 2.1 computer speaker set, which would have been perfect. I remember the original arcade machines being loud and bassy.

oh about those screw drives. theirs a kit there that has a y shaped bit. so if you looking to clean your gba games or some of those other nintendo stuff that doesnt have a secruity bit well you dont have to travel far or order it online

I put 6 rows of led strips with a thin Plexi that i frosted with sandpaper for even distrubtion. I jad a custom logo printed for $13 on clear flex plastic that i put on a sheet of plexi n mounted. Cost me $25 to do it all and aboit 40 minutes

I like the light leak. If your using the move list the light leak gives you the extra light to read the fatalities and moves quicker and easier. The character moves on the LCD screen. Am I the only that thinks it's not a big deal on a light leak

Yeah you think these Arcade One ☝️ ups would be hard to install or interchange parts, but Eric shows that it actually is pretty easy. That’s cool. Looks way cooler with the lit 🔥 up Marquee.

Don't use marker. Take a black piece of gloss paper and double sided tape it to the cabinet. It will look better and work better.

FINALLY got mine today..🤓yes, they take a while to come in, ( mine took about a month and a week) but they are built VERY well, made to order, not made ahead of time.. and definitely worth the wait, if u can be patient. I got the premium edition. Note:You will also need a PayPal account, which I do not have, but paid a friend of mine in cash and he ordered it for me. No sweat. Thanks for the install video, Eric.👍

I just installed my MK marquee and I gotta admit, it was a pain in the ass. You make it look real easy. I must be an idiot. And I'm disappointed that the marquee does not sit flush with the sides of the cabinet... I'm trying to fix this.

Just saw MKII upgraded LCD, custom riser, lit marquee and stool for $350 new. I'm majorly pissed that I bought a first run of these and have to spend so much in upgrades. The one thing I don't like about A1UP; too much variance with resellers on option and price with no option to buy upgrades ala carte on the official website. Boo.
