Enjoyed the installation video. Nicely done. Your wife did a great job of documenting the process. I would definitely consider these lamps. I’m glad you got them on a build similar to mine. Velocity Blue two door Squatch. They’re very compact, but very bright. Nice choice.

Glad you enjoyed it! She definitely was a huge part of this video and possibly some future ones. I highly recommend this light setup, it looks almost stock yet has high output. Thanks for watching!

Great install Coderman! I like how you fished the harness under the cowl trim. Very neat and you really don't need to cut the harness to shorter it. Less junction = less problem 👏
@CoderMan3 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I was pleased to see how the wire would tuck nicely behind that trim. Makes for a much cleaner install.

This was a very good video to help a newb such as myself. I watched other videos but they don't go film everything up close to show exactly how to/where to/what to. Thanks. I might put those on our Badlands today.

Thank you for that feedback. I try to make informative videos and find others like to keep them vague. Good luck on the install. Comment with any questions.

Awesome step by step video! One note, all the Torx bolts on the 2021 Bronco are actually Torx Plus bolts and you need Torx Plus bits. Only exception is the Sasquatch bead lock capable wheels which use standard Torx on the beauty rings.

Nice install. I plan on doing the fog lights in the modular bumper once I have mine. My build just got bumped by a week. I’m now in the 1/31/22 build week group. It was 7 degrees up here this morning. I hate winter.

I like the round option as well. Curious how they look on the Bronco pillar. Thanks for watching and supporting the channel!

Please remember when you take the ground Off your battery you are going to reset your radio stations and and also reset the timing to your window on your doors. I watched a video on KZbin where people were complaining about the window not coming down fast enough and catching on the seal when they open the door. But they failed to mention as they had already disconnected the battery to add lights and other accessories. You need to refer to your owner's manual and your Bronco Bronco to learn how to Restore factory timing to the windows. And remember this is normal for the Bronco.
@CoderMan2 жыл бұрын
Great tip. Weirdly enough the radio presets and windows kept their memory. Maybe it has non-volatile ram for a short period of time?

Did your lights come with relays? If so did you cut them out? I forgot if Ford set up the Aux switches with relays or the way they Ford set them up, relays are not need if you're under the amp rating. Love the Blue Kobalt tool on the Velocity Blue Bronco. You should use more Blue Kobalt tools when working on the Bronco and maybe get them as a sponsor for you.
@CoderMan3 жыл бұрын
That's a great question. If you stay under the amp rating you should be safe. A relay is not required in this instance. However this isn't my expertise so I would always confirm first for the particular application. The Kobalt tools match so well with the Bronco maybe I should reach out to them! My friend calls the inner grab handle the "Kobalt saw".

May i ask did if the Upfitter Wiring Harness for Auxiliary switch comes with the kit or did you buy them separately?
@CoderMan2 жыл бұрын
Those switches came factory from Ford. As an optional item.

Thanks for the video! I just ordered a Bronco today and am already dreaming of the mods I want to make. I think I'll get these Bajas. I didn't get a clear view of the mounting setup for these lights. Would it be easy enough to angle the brackets to point the lights to the side of the vehicle a little when installing?
@CoderMan2 жыл бұрын
You could absolutely angle the lights down or to the side of the vehicle. If you want to change their physical placement you'd need to get an alternative mounting plate.

How does the wire come off the light. I can’t get the mirror bracket back on because of the wire
@CoderMan2 жыл бұрын
I ran the wire in the gap crested between the plastics. It was a tough time putting it back on but no pinching or anything.

Wondering why you didn’t use the mounting plate?
@CoderMan3 жыл бұрын
Which mounting plate? The bracket to hold the light or something else?
@mikemax49803 жыл бұрын
@@CoderMan it’s basically a steel plate mounted so you can assemble the light and attach it easier and come with rubber base so it doesn’t mar the plastic

Weird, I'll ask. I have seen that with other lights but not the Baja Designs. Maybe I missed it. I'll sure be laughing if I did. I'll need to amend the video. Thanks for looking out!

Installed mine a couple of weeks ago. Any reason for not using the additional plate and soft material at the bolt on locations? My biggest issue was getting the beams aligned.
@CoderMan3 жыл бұрын
Unless I was completely blind it didn't come with those. Did you get the Sport or Pro?

Not my smartest idea but certainly made the install more interesting. Cold hands and even colder plastic makes for some real dicey moments.
