Installing C6 Corvette Wheels and Tires on 4th Generation Firebird Trans Am

In this video we show what it takes to install a set of C6 Corvette Wheels on 4th Generation Pontiac Firebird Trans-Am.
These wheels are wider than the Pontiac Wheels and the Off-set is different also, specially for the rear Wheels, making it necessary to install Hub-Centric Wheel Spacers.

Looks good. I put a very similar corvette wheel in grey on my 97 Z28 years ago. Turned out good one thing 8 didn't like was the front wheel seemed to sit further in and I thought could have used a spacer too. I didn't keep the .ca long enough to bother trying it though

Did you get any rubbing from the front when turning? How about rubbing from the rear over bumps or hard take offs?

I have Corvette wheels on my fbody. Dont NEED adapters. But they finish the look and yes it rubs ever so slightly in the rear only when going up driveway or turning hard so adaptors wouldn't be a bad idea. No issues in front what so ever.

The wheels look great. I think the old wheels were okay but not on your new color. One thing I would have done different since you like anti-seize is I would have put a dab around hub of each wheel and the spacers as they tend to get stuck on. Dissimilar metals tend to corrode a bit. Aluminum wheels/cast iron rotors. Anti-seize on hubs helps prevent that.

How did you get the whole car on stands? I have an 02 (WS6 with koni & the free drop on stock springs), and i have to drive on to makeshift ramps to get either end (front or back) up enough for the floor jack to get under.

Lowering would make it look even better. Close some of that wheel gap. May or may not be your thing...jmo.

Siron Metatron it would look great but gotta be carful if the tire is too wide in the rear might have to camber.. and might loose traction do to the camber

Eclectic Gentleman 285/35/18. The fronts will rub a little on the plastic inner fender liner when you turn the steering wheel far enough but beyond that I never saw they caused a problem.

Martin Torres you need wheel adapters, the f body has a 5x4.75 bolt pattern, the b body has a 5x4.5 bolt pattern.

John Smith the 3rd gen camaro has a way different off set that's why the wheels say front and rear on them. You might need different spacers or find the right off set wheels

C5 Vette wheels fit perfectly without the need of spacers and imo look a little better given they're a smaller diameter F: 17x8.5 R: 18x9.5 Had a set come on my 93' Formula I bought a few months back
