I have seen various videos but your way of explaining things was simple and to the point. Can you please make a part 2 of this video which explains: 1. How to access casaOS or NextCloud or anyother program installed in CasaOs remotely. 2. How to add another drive (not usb drive) in CasaOs and allocate its space to NextCloud. 3. How to configure and map an internal new drive in CasaOs and NextCloud so we can access it on other windows and Mac within the local network. That part 2 would be a great help to several newbies. Thank you for the comment A prat two video would not be a bad idea. I might make something soon as for accessing CasaOS point your web browser to the ip of the machine that is running CasaOS. Machine could mean Bare Metal, VM, or CT. Hope this helps

Hi. I don't know if this will help you, but I think I made some progresses: - Created a VM with Ubuntu - Installed (via command) CasaOS - In the VM Hardware added a hard drive Sata 1, ssd emulated, with 200 GB - Rebooted the VM and the drive is available in CasaOS explorer (Files)

Another great video, appreciate your content. I'm very new to using proxmox and all that it offers. Just been adding to my home lab setup as I learn more about Containers, Docker, etc. One thing I enjoy about your videos, is that I get an true understanding of how to actually make the installs work. If you are looking for ideas for future content, can I suggest Scrypted. Scrypted is a high performance home video integration and automation platform. I've been reading up on it and saw a few videos from other content creators. But they don't do as good of a job of explaining the full installation steps. 9 times out of 10, I watch one of your videos and walk away with a working container. Thanks.

great tutorial, thanks....how do with setup storage as with proxmox container, I can not see the storage and is there a way to setup a NAS in casaOS

Great information, it helped me to decide a direction for my home server setup. I would suggest that you work a little on your audio setup as it was extremely distracting, especially the clipping. I've used Audacity in the past as it gives you good levels even with the worst audio sources. Keep up the good work!

This was awesome and straight forward. No fluff! Thank you for all that! I followed along with you and everything worked perfectly. No hiccups. I would like to ask a question: First, you created a container instead of a VM for this. In my mind, it seems it would be making containers within a container. Am I correct? If so, is there any concerns with all the "layers", ie, Proxmox Container with a CasaOS container with say a PiHole container? Or am I misunderstanding? I'm kinda new to containers, Docker and the like. I'm up with VM's tho. Thank you again for the video! Liked & Subscribed.

No they are very different containers and in someways due to how Proxmox handles resources a container will be faster then a VM. I have run docker in a LXC CT for years. Thank you For the Comment.

I have this server i made. With a ryzen 9 3900x, 64gb of ram, 10tb of storage, rx 6700 xt. The processor is a 12 core 24thread beast ! My power bill is going to be insane I know. But its great awesome ! 👌

Great idea but wouldnt Casaos be limited to just the VM resources? Say you wanted to use Jelly fin or Resilio i dont see a way to access the main machines HDD for storage

the sad thing is that is can be hard to bring in a HDD or USB from proxmox most of the time I will use SMB share

Not sure why but i get till the point of being able to open Casaos GUI but i cant access apps store. It says "There was an error when loading App Store list. Please try again". Is there any extra step im missing out?

I also noticed that after installation in console i get this "bonding_masters: error fetching interface information: Device not found"...
