Installing compressor and EQ plug-ins on a Presonus StudioLive Series 3 console

We are installing the Presonus collection of plug-in compressors and EQs (Vol 1) onto a Presonus Studiolive Series III console.
What's needed to conduct this?
1. Presonus Universal Control software installed on a Windows or MAC computer
2. Access (an account) with Presonus
3. A registered Studiolive Series III console with Presonus
4. The plug-in collection has been added to your account (or shopping cart). As of this writing, the collection (V1) is free.
5. Your Presonus login information added to Universal Control
6. Network access to your Studiolive console and to Presonus
There are a few steps involved, but it is easy to install the plug-ins.

Hi there ,do you know a way to "loopback" audio back to a DAW on the series 3 plz? For example ,i use Superior Drummer multi out.i'm trying to route kick,snare etc to individual channel on the mixer and send all those individual channels back to my DAW to record as audio track.Presonus customer care could not help me 😅

Good question. I have little knowledge of the DAW functionality of the consoles. You mentioned you contacted Presonus customer care... Have you tried posting your question (or searching for your question) on the Presonus forum -- "answers.presonus.com" There's a lot of users on that forum. It's possible someone may be able to provide you an answer.

Thank you for your comment. I think an iPad would work. As long as the iPad has access to the Presonus console and to the internet (with your Presonus login) at the same time, it should work.

Possibly a stupid question but can I use and control my UAD plugins with the Studiolive 32sx or sc? And if so can I adjust them with the touchscreen?

Good question. I have no idea if the console can control a UAD. I am thinking it probably cannot. You may want to try posting your question on the Presonus forum.

You can use them but you need to be connected to a computer and your DAW. So to use them live, you would need to take a laptop or something with you. Essentially, you run your audio through the desk, into your computer which does the processing, then back to the mixer and out to your PA.

I'm not sure. You would need to check with Presonus for what they support.

I just followed the process for SL32 III . But able to activate RC500 Comp, VT1 Comp, RC500 EQ and VT1 Eq only. Any suggestion to get the others on the board please?? Btw Thank you for uploading informative videos.

Thanks for your comment. Sounds like an odd situation Is the firmware of your console current? Many times (with computers), firmware revisions can fix (and cause) problems.

I just checked the Firmware is updated. Still they are showing four plugins only.

That is very odd. Looks like you may want to open a ticket with Presonus. Unfortunately, I do not know that much about the software side of audio to offer any other suggestions.

how do u create a mix to feed the subwoofers

We use a crossover for the subs; no need to feed those with a separate mix. Though, if you are needing to setup a separate mix, you would just use one of the "flex-mix" layers as an aux, sub-group, or matrix. We have another video on our channel that covers how to setup an aux, sub-group, or matrix mix.

I'm not aware of USB being an option for the installation. You may want to contact Presonus to get a confirmation on that.
