Interesting. Does this cancel when you brake or change gear like factory cruise would? All cars I've used in the past cancel on braking, some will however let you keep cruise active during gear changes (but not many). Also for the limiter, my experience of limiter on my old Mazda was that if you went to full pedal input, it would override the limit. The limit would then reset automatically once the speed dropped below the set limit. In your case, maybe this is what is happening but it then just cancels out altogether? I definitely prefer this ability to override like this because if you suddenly need to squirt the throttle to get out the away of something, you don't need to think about doing anything with the buttons. You just drive.

Yes. It does cancel on braking, or changing gear. Just like the majority of factory cruise. On all the Mercedes I've owned/ own. Limit is a complete limit until cancelled. But I typically have never truly tested limit to its full extent. It's not a feature I use at all. Just tested it for the video review factor.

@@datbuild yeah it's a nice to have, but seldom used feature. It can come in handy for stretches of road with lots of speed cams though. Just to make sure you don't slip!
