Mike installs a driver seatbelt, then troubleshoots a busted turn signal switch, and finally installs miniature license plate lights so we'll be legal to drive our Skoolie at night! These are just a few of the multiple tasks we need to complete for the bus to be finished!
Mike's notes: I really wanted to have the rear crossing lights to be used as turn signals and brake lights. Adding these lights to the signalling system created a problem for us. The crossing lights are high current spot lights not just simple signalling bulbs and this ultimately burned out our turn signal switch. Unlike headlights that have a relay to handle the current load, the turn signals are directly switched. The switches we chose to replace the turn signal switch are high current switches so we won't have this problem again.

About Us:
Hi! We are Mike & Kerry, the proud owners of a 1992 Bluebird rear engine (pusher), 40' school bus! We named her Bussy McBusface in honor of the RRS Boaty McBoatface travesty!
We're building a Tiny-Home-in-a-Bus for full-time living in the most adventure-friendly way possible! In other words, Bussy will not be parked in our driveway, waiting for weekend or holiday getaways... when we finish the build, we'll be packing everything we're keeping into the bus and driving away from this old house forever!
We plan to be boondocking the majority of the time, so you'll see that reflected in our choices throughout the build (100 gallon water tank, composting toilet, solar power system, etc). We'd love to have you stick around and follow us on our journey, throughout the Skoolie Build, and to Infinite Adventures Beyond!
