How do I install Braided brake lines on my Motorcycle?
Need motorcycle tires installed in Murphy, NC?

Extremely good explanation, thank you! Also, what are the clamps you used to secure the lines just slightly above the caliper? I have deflectors there and would rather have that for more organized routing. Thanks

It is just a cable clamp. It will be in the Galfer package.

No doubt I’d love to find the prices he is talking. There pulling 6 here easy if there clean and low miles. Easy. I’ll buy any clean 04/06 or 07/08 for 3500/4000 all day long. Show me the way.

Guessing I don't need to change the fluid when I'm only changing the lines so if I pinch off the resevoir hose will that prevent it from leaking? (Aside from the fluid coming out of the lines/caliper) Just raised my handlebars on a 06 r1 maybe 1 and a half inches and moved back a bit but the metal part connecting the two lower hoses is clipping the headlight housing because I had to finesse it a bit, I have trouble turning left almost dropped the bike a couple times just ordered steel braided lines so I'm gonna be tackling this project soon

You need to remove all of the fluid before you even start. Why leave old fluid in ther resevoir? Get a MityVac and pull all the fluid out of the system.

@@RideWNC it's not old fluid just got changed and is maybe 500-1000 miles old I will pick up a vac though for the future when I need to completely change it.

@@bullinapeamurica5940 You are not making any sense. You need to remove the fluid to remove the lines. Why leave 2 oz. of fluid in the system? You can't be that frugal? I want to think you are being lazy, but it is more work to try to keep the fluid in. But you are the master mechanic of your bike. Don't let anyone on the interwebs try to help you.

That is actually really easy. The hardest thing is ordering the parts. Once you take it a part you will see there is nothing to it. OR - Buy a used one off of eBay. They are cheap.

Yeah... Unfortunately, people are paying it. More dollars than sense. When this video was done, these bikes were really cheap.
