Installing FULL Interior on my 240sx drift car right before a drift event!

There's just something so good having full interior on a drift car that can not be felt on a gutted interior. This project 240sx is purpose built to be a street car. Street car to me mean most interior in necessary to pull it off.
I can't believe my fuel pump and fuel filter were on their way out the day before the drift event. But thanks to some awesome friends, we were able to get the car ready!
I spent the last 7 years building this 1990 Nissan 240sx from the ground up by myself. I swapped out the KA24e for a KA24de. Then once more for a RB25det out of a R34 Skyline and couldn't be happier. I have also converted the 240 to right hand drive, (which ended up saving my life!) After installing a few drift parts; such as a hydro E - Brake, and dual rear calipers, welded diff, solid suspension bushings and more, the car handled amazing. Surprisingly this S13 was able to drift and stay sideways perfectly despite the damage that was done to it.

I like how the interior turned out. Fran did a great job of the new upholstery. I don't like stripped cars. The weight savings are negligible for a street car but ruin the driving experience. Carpets or mats in the trunk make a huge difference as well.

Fun fact: Kinda unrelated but in my mother tongue (Euskera), the noun form of help means friend. So basically we say "to friend" someone, meaning to help someone. There's a saying in Euskera whch translating it directly, it would mean "friends are for friending". What you said in 15:18 sounded funny to me because of this :) PS: Awesome video as always

Normally, the Walbro 255 comes with a rubber insulation sheath to fit over the pump to quiet it down. I think it's great all the resources and camaraderie you share with your buddies. Such a wonderful thing.

I think a really good engine bay color would be a really dark blue or a black with blue flake in it. It'll be dark enough to give some contrast but will still have the blue tinge to keep the theme.
