Like he explained. The foam pad is more flat and more conforming. So the wool pad leaves more swirls because each fiber sits a little higher and lower unlike foam. That's what I was taught at least. Wool is for aggressive cutting. Foam is for finishing or less aggressive approach. Foam produces more heat in my experience which can cause burning and drys the compound more so it requires more attention. But definitely a must for a perfect finish.

Why not take the wheels to a machine shop and have them shave some of the hub down and change the offset of the wheel to run bigger tires.

Suggestion: Once you’ll paint the 240 why don’t you make a sticker kit that copies the “to do list” you have now on the panel? I mean that became kinda of a trademark, sticker kit would be easy to make and also reversibile. Cool? Not cool?
