How did you install the fronts? I noticed the upper strut bolt hole is slotted, did you push the rotor all the way in then tighten the bolts?
@YangLimitz2 жыл бұрын
You have to wiggle the rotor around to get it alligned to the strut. Helps to have a hydraulic jack under the rotor to help push up to allign the strut holes to the hub

If I wanted to max out the rear I would spin both lock rings to the very top? When adjusting rear ride height do I preload it first then adjust lock rings or the opposite?
@YangLimitz2 жыл бұрын
From what i remember yes if you want max drop then spin rings all the way to top, then spin the strut down accordingly till it meets the hub

Hey I was looking at these exact coilovers for my 08 Civic but I also saw the Rev9 Hyper Street ll coilovers. Which would you recommend?
@YangLimitz2 жыл бұрын
Tbh I think they are both similar in they own ways. No right or wrong imo. Go with whats in your budget
@Kaohteeko Жыл бұрын
Rev9 is Godspeed project sister company. So technically their ver simular quality. However, Godspeed is clearly their more premium brand. Rev9 quality is Hit or Miss; with their biggest concern being shock durability. They offer one year warranty from authorized dealers only.

There are knobs on the top of the strut through the trunk you can turn for stiffness

Is there a big difference between the 9th gen and 8th gen with this swap ? I’m thinking of buying mono as Coilovers for my 2009 Honda civic si can’t find a good video for 8th gen . But is it basically the same as yours ?
