Just a video to show how easy it is to add grommets to a tarp to make it more usable.

Great idea. I need an area in the shade to wash and dry vegetables as I harvest. You just saved me a few hundred dollars.

Cost me about $23.00 for everything. It is easy to find the frames for free on Craigslist at the end of summer. Thanks for watching.

What a great idea ...just had a friend drop off a frame like that they didn't want. I will have to put it together and do something similar. Thanks for the great idea

It is very easy to cut them down, sand them and spray on a coat of paint. There are many different tarp sizes available, or it would be easy to make one from the sunbrella material. Thanks for watching.

Great video! I just bought shade cloth for my garden. No gromlets on cloth. I have a kit. Thanks for showing me how to put them in!

Great idea I think I'm going to make one a little bit larger put it on wheels and then move it throughout my garden when doing work. Thank you
@unemployedredneckhillbilly20237 жыл бұрын
That would be a great idea. You can find people giving away the old frames on craigslist all the time. just add some weights to the wheels to keep the wind from blowing it over. Thanks for watching.

Great idea, I have a bunch of PCV pipe I could make the frame with. Just purchase some tarps from Harbor Freight. I already have a grommet kit. I really like your "Beware of Cute Dogs" sign. Did you make it? If so would you be willing to make one I could buy? If not can you tell me where I can get one?
@unemployedredneckhillbilly20237 жыл бұрын
Find some uv resistant plastic rated paint to make the pvc last. I have not had good luck with the harbor freight tarps lasting more than a couple weeks in the sun and wind so I went with coated canvas. I plasma cut the sign, but am not set up to sell anything so the easiest way to get one would be to paint one. They were just stencil fonts so it should be pretty easy to find a stencil set to speed it up. Thanks for watching.

Great tips! Too bad you couldn't find a 6x7 and it would have fit better.
@unemployedredneckhillbilly20237 жыл бұрын
It would have been nice if the finish size of the tarp was a couple inches larger, but luckily the bungees had enough stretch. Thanks for watching.

The tarp is all torn up from the wind and leaks like a sieve.
