For the starter I did mine kinda dumb because I was lazy to find the wire but I wired it to a push button, if you want to take the time and find the wire that’s hot while cranking you just wire that to the starter and it should crank

Matt here love your channel I am Gm truck guy too I have green 04 Chevy extended cab z71 like cat eye. Got a new project idea for you after your done with the cat eye and sikid mark Austin. How about getting a old 67 to 72 chevy or gmc 3/4 4wd truck and restoring it. Also put a lq4 6.0 or a lm7 5.3 built up fuel injected engine in it with with 4l80e transmission with 4 inch lift wheels and tires and so on. That would be cool.
