Installing Hughes valve springs on 5.9 Magnum heads

Just showing off my antique valve spring compressor, getting the Hughes valve springs on and going off on a tangent that makes no sense. I figured I'd leave the last bit in for everyone's amusement.

I'm also building a 360 at the moment and just picked up these same valve springs for my mild cam. I've seen a lot of things about not breaking in a cam with dual springs or dampeners. What's your experience with leaving out the these particular dampeners while breaking in a new cam and engine?

I personally have never had any break in issues with dampened springs, but that's just me. I can see where too much spring could cause issues though. With this being a roller cam and Hughes never mentioned any special instructions, I just sent it. So far it's good, but I guess I'll know more once I get more drive time on the engine.
