Thanks. I think that blue is Krylon Matte Ink Blue, but I can see Ford dark blue. It was just leftover from our kitchen reno, it's the color of our cabinets 🤣🤣It was on hand and I like the look. The truck is a dark blue, so it kinda goes with it...sorta, if you squint.

Distrubtor can be clocked any way you want, just move the #1 plug where you want. The oil drive shaft comes out easy with a magnet.

You set the synch signal for the distributor with a scan tool once you have everything together. Cool engine, love Magnum 360s!

That Motor looks good I have a 5.9 Magnum in my 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 4×4 and thinking about replacing the intake manifold what's your thought about upgrading the intake ❓
@Chumley36011 ай бұрын
Thanks! From the bits of research I did on the intake, replacement boils down to end use. The Barrel intake mods and aftermarket EFI intakes are all for more HP. Obviously if you go carb, then you're going in a whole other direction. If you use the truck in a manner that requires or utilizes torque then stick with the barrel intake. I opened/smoothed my intake ports and the throttle body, probably didn't do anything HP/TQ wise, but made me feel good. Also I'm having really good results with the Hughes ECU compatible cam. It was well worth the money.

Проблема не в шпильках или болтах, а в самом выпускном коллекторе !!! Во-первых патрубки не равной длины, а во-вторых геометрия их изгиба убогая и не позволяет нормально притягивать фланцы.

You’ll cut your performance a bit with not enough back pressure from those headers. Nice build though! Looks good 👍
@michaelowen6197Ай бұрын
You have know idea what you are talking about. It’s been proven time and time again, engines don’t need back pressure. They need the ability to scavenge the exhaust by using the exhaust pulses from adjacent cylinders to increase exhaust velocity. Exhaust manifolds have little to no scavenge effect.
