Does the system need a filter? Seems like if you're pulling the fluid from the bottom of the transmission you'd be sucking up any shavings. Keep up the good work! Thanks for making these cool videos.

Not sure why you're using hydraulic oil from the transmission. If it was me, I'd put a small oil tank(1 gal or so) under the gas tank and this way it's isolated from the transmission, especially if there's contamination in the cylinders etc. Then I would run an oil cooler on the pressure side of the pump.
