Philly Accord actually I am going the same thing too. With the red emblem being in the middle and everything black it will give the car an aggressive look. It will be so mean. The emblem will look nice around all the black things. I mentioned in the video that I am getting the black grill and tbh I can’t wait it will look so sick!!

Looking good man, hope you got the real ones, I had gotten mine from eBay to put on my civic and they looked good for about 10 months now they are all cracked up. They did not hold up against the elements. I stopped by at my local Honda dealer and they sold me the genuine type R emblems and putting them side by side you can clearly see the difference. Anyways thanks for the video keep up the good work 👌🏽

Legend17 oh no sorry, I mixed my words, Had 2 sets, the first batch I got from eBay I paid around 30 for each after 10 months they began to fade. When I went to get my car serviced I saw they were selling the OEM badges and were on sale for 55$ I took the faded ones off and put the new ones in.

i did this today 5-18-2024 broked my front H in 3 pieces lol and the back i got it off with no breakage...but i think i put my back H emblem just a little crooked but not noticable lols, but the front i got it straight..i was rushing though lol, so take ur time and line them straight guys and gals.

Once the emblems are glue to the car im screw right like i ant move them. the rear emblem had a broken pit so i was trying to put the working pin on the whole and my dumb self pushed the side with the broken pin and is slightly not aligned to the center. My question to you is in case they send me a replacement and i want to change it the only way is again use a screw driver and most likely the emblem will break right? because i kind of tried to unglue it and i saw tiny minor dent/chip so i stopped.

I like it on the back better, blends in. I am going to leave the original one on the front because I am not changing the front grill and the emblem on the front seems to blend with the front grill. I did put the red emblem on my steering wheel. Can't wait until it gets a little warmer (teens here) So I can use your video to replace the rear emblem. My Honda Accord is the same metallic red color as yours.

I'm going a little more radical...I have the blue sport...putting blue emblem on the front as it will stand out against the black grill, putting a red emblem on the back as it works with the red lights on each side of it, plus it will stand out on the blue color, where I think the blue emblem would kind of get lost.

Wait, lol, before I do. When you break off the emblems where do the two tabs that were attached fall? Do they fall somewhere inside the bumper for the front and trunk lid for the rear where you can't get to them to fish them out?

Just open the trunk, take off the liner, and push the emblem out. Much easier and no chance of scratching paint or denting. That’s how I did mine. Still have to do the front.

Have you noticed and vibrating coming from the front bumper after doing this? I wrapped my front badge and after I put it back on I notice a vibrating noise, different from the dash one I hear sometimes. Happens around 30-35+ mph

Hugo Grimm thank you. It would look amazing on the black for sure. A branch fell on it. Idk when and where but one day I was looking at my hood and saw it there. How do I know it was a branch cuz i live around a lot of trees. Anyways I got $900 from the insurance and I didn’t even bother fixing it tbh. Not sure if I will cuz I am planning to keep my accord for a long time. I took that money and put it toward the payments of the car. My monthly was 310$ and that $900 covered three months for me :)

jeremy flores Hey this probably a little late, but CT does require your vehicle to have two plates. However, it doesn't really matter much. I live in TX where I have mine off. Police officers can pull you over for not having one but most officers will not bother if you simply don't have a front plate. If you get pulled over for other reasons then the officer may mention it. Hell, I actually got pulled over for speeding one time where my front plate was off and the officer did not mention it haha. If you do get pulled over for not having one all it is minimum fine like $10 and submitting proof like taking a picture that you put it back on.

The way you take the emblems off, in my opinion is the lazy way to doing little modifications. Even if you are not going to see the scratches you created by using an screw driver, that is not the way to do it. On the front emblem you can take the upper grill off by removing a few self tabs, then push the emblem off from the back. On the trunk emblem the same issue. It will take you max 20 minutes to removed the inside of the trunk cover by removing some self tabs and then about 2 or 4 10 mill nuts. Pull the cover that holds the emblem and disconnect the rear camera plug. Then push the emblem from the inside out. Again your method is your tacky and lazy, Just mi opinion.
