Installing Laminate Flooring |Master Closet Renovation | EP07

Some nice, laminate flooring can really change a room, and it's not hard to do yourself! We had some nasty carpet in a lot of our upstairs, so we've been switching it out for this laminate. I'll show you some of the things I learned about installing it, so you can do it yourself.

Are you not supposed to lay them the other way in rooms with windows? As in, lengthwise, pointing towards the window. That way the joints are less visible.

I’ve not ever heard that. I’m not a professional installer. Also, every room has a window (not closets usually) because of code for emergency egress.
