I thought about doing that too mine but decided it wasn't worth it for me since I no longer drive it much. However, years ago I did add 2 sets, so 2 on each side, of led lights under the bed rail. Each light has something life 10 or 12 led in it so it does get pretty bright. I hooked them to a switch in the cab. This way I can see what's in the bed in the dark and with the cover closed. That was probably one of the best mods I ever did on that old truck. Lol

Bed lights are definitely worth it! There have been so many times where I have used them to light up the bed when I've been working in the dark... or when I was looking for something in the bed under the cover.

Do you have any issues with your key fob? I just put Lasfit LEDs in my 2016 and the fob wouldn’t work when the cargo lights were illuminated.
