They look great. Just a tip, you should solder any wire connections and use heat shrink. Crimp connectors can come lose with vibration.

I see where you removed and discarded the nut and rubber expansion sleeve off the Mblaze. Seems pretty darn lucky the existing threads in the stock bobber handlebar ends are the same size as the bolts on the Mblaze signals. But they are -- right?

Best looking front turn signal option I have seen so far. Do they blind you at night.?
@mikeonabike89692 жыл бұрын
Not at all. They are directional, so they have a bulb facing forward and one facing back.
@chase1784 жыл бұрын
Hey how do you tighten them up is there a screw or do you have to just hand tighten them
@mikeonabike89694 жыл бұрын
You just screw them in by hand. I also used them mirror as a lever to get them really snug. It takes a little fidgeting.

Wonder how these would look on my Bonneville?

It's a process, but they look great.

Hello, Mike, I love the way the turn signal looks on your bike. I own a 21 Indian scout bobber and I purchased the disc led signal lights but can't find the right mirrors. what kind of mirrors do you have on your bike?
@mikeonabike8969 Жыл бұрын
The mirrors in this video were the stock bar end mirrors.

Do you know if the Chief Dark Horse had threads in thier bar ends?

I don't know.

I have Moto gadget m view mirrors they sell and adapter for the mirror and the blaze.. I’m not sure it would work since the handlebars are threaded
@mikeonabike89693 жыл бұрын
Moto has sxpanding adapter for hollow bars and studs for threaded bars all in the box

Does them m blaze bar end signal threads directly to the scout handle bar without modification? Pls let me know because I Don't want to change my stock handle bar.

Any issue with voltage? I know the endbars are ~7w and stock led run at ~12v?
@mikeonabike89692 жыл бұрын
None at all.

After a year how are they holding up? And do you use them as running lights also?
@mikeonabike89692 жыл бұрын
No, they only work as indicators. They are holding up great. I've had them off a time or two doing different mods, like mirror swaps. Really bright.

@@mikeonabike8969 too bad for me they are illegal in North Carolina so I'm not going to try and getaway with them. Evenrhough they look great I'm sending them back😪

Do you by any chance know or remember what size the mounting screw was (the bit you took the nut off of). I have a Triumph and the bars are threaded too but is M6 and anything I can find and have bought is M8 and I don’t really want to drill the hole out to make others fit. If anyone could help it would be much appreciated
@mikeonabike89693 жыл бұрын
I do not. But I'm about to change bar end mirrors so when I do that I'll check
@aidan40622 жыл бұрын
@C Paul Did you find an answer for this? I'd like to put these on my Bonneville and had the impression I'd have to remove the threaded bar ends, but it sounds like maybe MG includes a threaded bolt that may or may not fit.
@shaneyup2065 Жыл бұрын
I'm wondering the same, can't find that thread size anywhere online. Any way you could throw a caliper on the threads and let us know it is m6?
@masisboxingbelts1131 Жыл бұрын
Do you have to remove the handlebars and everything else ? You can’t just remove the fairing and drill a hole in the handlebar that way and fish the wires ?
@mikeonabike89693 ай бұрын
That would probably work if you have the patience for it
@jaybee59194 жыл бұрын
Any issues with the lights become loose?
@mikeonabike89694 жыл бұрын
none at all. It takes a little bit to get them tight and get your mirror at the correct angle, but once you tighten it down it stays put.
