If you can find it, dry silicone spray in the bolt rope slot is a repeatable solution to the sticking of the plastic slugs. You have to repeat it periodically, but it will help.

Congrats on your new main. That would meet my approval. Use dry lube on the slides. And keep those seizings tight. That’s what stops the slides from capsizing and jamming. I’ll bet your boat sails sooooooo much better. Will heel less, and make you go, especially when you vang to control twist. Glad you are going to Vanuatu. That will be big adventure. Your bosun's chair is a blast from the past. Musto and Hyde split into Musto, the clothing brand, and Hyde, the sailmaker, in about 1980. Top tip with sail slides. Next time you are up the mast squirt some cheap household furniture polish in the slot, jam a cloth in it and run it up and down. Costs nothing and as it is polish not lube it doesn't attract dirt. Next time you drop the sail it will literally land on your head.

Always great to hear of a company reaching out to an individual who’s making stuff happen without demanding anything of anyone, or expecting it. That main looks like it was built like the proverbial brick outhouse but also looks a great shape for what you’re doing, needing a set of compromises to cover any and all conditions which is not an easy thing to achieve. You’ll definitely enjoy having a bunch more drive and pointing upwind to punch through a bit of a seaway. Nice! What a beautiful sail Holly, thank you Rolly Tasker. I had not realized just how tattered your old one was till once of the shots prior to lofting the new one really displayed the wear well. How odd that I dreamt of you, well of Gecko, last night. I arrived at some tropical canal off a waterway, seemingly mid jungle, as you sailed her for the first time - I know, nothing like main. One of the neatest feature you has, I was not aware of it until I has awakened, was the two part anchor, each half nestled up against the hawse Hole. How the halves magically, or technologically, mated up when you dropped the anchor halves was never explained,,, Congratulations on your obvious technical genius! Of, you did see me filming as you pulled to the bank and I gave you all mu film to use as yo9u briefly interviewed me, as I awoke, What a bizarre dream it was. Just sang your praises to my (few) followers on Twitter, might do it on Facebook as well. I figure Rolly Tasker deserves the exposure!
