Had one for a while. Doesn’t really increase horsepower unless you feed cold air directly to it. Makes a sick noise though! With the extra air in you will also want a performance exhaust to get the air out but its a good start!

Just come across this vlog, I have one in my Corsa E 1.4T (ecu remapped to 155 bhp) and sounds fantastic, you can hear the turbo spinning up and no need for a dump valve it makes a similar noise in between gears or just lifting off, the RamAir might give me a couple of more horses but its the sound, would recommend you pull out the bottom part of air box use the mount and the trunking to funnel cold air into the cone. A word of warning don't get the cleaning kit which comes with oil to impregnate the filter just clean with warm soapy water use ecover washing (or plant based) up liquid some others can be harsh on the foam and have heard stories of the foam breaking down, do not OIL the filter there is no need the foam is dense enough to catch small particles. Have Fun....

Sounds much nicer than i thought it would to be fair. i thought these were a lot more whistly which is why i went for the K&N on mine, but sounds nice actually. Second gear redline, it'll sound beautiful. You'll probably have your foot to the floor for the first month of driving it, i was the same haha.

Mr Studio it’s more that it’s a cone filter as you get performance panel filters which I would recommend for an engine of this size 😂 but I feel bad for all the fanboys on the comments wanting to do this to there corsas 😂

Now I've modded cars for a long long time ram air is pretty good however when it comes to Vauxhalls I find pipercross gives a much more deeper induction roar ..so whenever you want to change grab yourself either a new or clean secondhand pipercross cone filter and compare the difference good luck in the future with more modifications son ✅✅👍🏻

Have you noticed an increase or decrease in performance? Be careful doing this, on small engines it may not affect it much, on bigger engines this could cause an imbalance with the Air and Fuel ratio but also a problem is trying to source cold air as the filter is sucking in air from the hot engine bay instead of the cool outside. You got so excited changing an air filter, you now have a kit, you'd be surprised how easy it is to change other service parts like oil, oil filter, spark plugs, oil pressure sensor (which is a common problem on Corsas) and other things.

Be careful of these filters mate. I got a golf r and some people use forge filters(same spongey material). More you drive it eventually chops bits off the filter and gets sucked into your engine. Just a heads up thats all. You're better off getting the mesh kind which dont disintegrate

you gotta be careful when putting air filters on lower powered cars, they sound good but they kill your fuel efficiency as the engine doesn't know what's going on with the increased/decreased air flow, so more often than not it will be running rich.

If you ever get into modifying cars seriously you're going to look back at this from the future and think.... did i really try and make a 1.2 litre non turbo car faster or sound nicer by throwing a cone filter on the end of the intake pipe. I personally never threw money away on a car with a small engine and no turbo. I waited until i had something that had alot of aftermarket support and i knew i could double the power that the car made easily by having a bigger turbo and a few bolt on parts. Save your money dude until you get something that's better and more capable (and that doesn't mean a corsa vxr)... they don't handle the extra power well.

It's going to eat petrol like mad tho, i bought a itg performance filter for £100 and couldn't even use it because it restricated airflow therefore causing engine to misfire and use more fuel, so had to swap it for a genuine bosch one and everything went back to normal
