Sounds like release bearing. May be your gearbox output shaft if you have a 5 speed not a 6 speed. The 5 speeds are a midland gearbox that is made from chocolate. 6 speed is a getrag box, they’re quite strong.

Them stiff gearstick is normal Mine was alot worse i just hosed it with wd40 under gearknob But the clutch change is complete front end off and loads undernearth I would check the rear lower arm bushes at front end as pretty much the whole front end has to come off just to change them

I’ve had a few Corsa’s in my time but the best ones ive owned are the 1.3 cdti get a stage 1 map and their quite rapid 😂 and take the abuse not the 6 speed box tho 😂

press clutch makes noise its the thrust bearing and it kills the clutch housing it will die very soon so you will need full clutch kit any blue on flywheel or play you need a new flywheel

That sound is an engine out job, hours of labour for a small clutch thrust bearing. Whilst it's out do the timing chain, they're known for snapping around 90k, and you need the engine out for doing the chain too.
