I have the same brillo pad solder cleaner. Not the highlight of this great video, but I was like, "hey - I have the same bit of kit." I also have an acid cigar box, but I peeled off the labels and use it to hold stuff. Very well made.

Hi! I finished the build with the Acid box. It actually sounds great with strings 3, 2, 1 from a light phosphor bronze pack. I made some recordings and will share them in my next vid. Thanks for checking out my channel : )

This content is Fantastic! You do a great job explaining what you are doing on each step. I liked the analysis of piezo location as well. Great use of the DAW. Bravo!

I love this! Reminds of my days working in Paul Reed Smith's finishing shop back in the early 90s. Love what you're doing!

I've been wanting to add some piezo mic's to my guitar, but I was worried about how I could attach it. Thanks for that little tip about blue painter's tape.

Thank you for this video! Very interesting! I am curious as to what software you used to analyze the sound?
@psycheopera7 ай бұрын
Hi! I’m so glad you enjoyed my video. ✨The DAW I used in the video is Adobe Audition, which has awesome sound analysis tools. But, in this case, I analyzed the recordings by ear 👂 and made my choice based on which piezo placement gave me the most balanced sound. 🎸 Thanks for checking out my work! 💜 Hope you’re enjoying my latest vids 🙏😀

Good soldering technique :) btw if you twist the piezos wires together you'll get less hum

i like how you resolve the piece where the strings gain tension, with a screw, is that called the bridge? i'l go and check a video where a cbg is built
@psycheopera Жыл бұрын
Hi! Thanks for checking out my video! The machine screw on the box functions as both the bridge and saddle. A lot of builders prefer wooden floating bridges, which you can get from suppliers like CBGiitty, but I prefer this simpler method. Cheers! ✨😊

@@psycheopera Well done. Ah! but you don't have a video where details of cbg building are displayed. That's fine , it's just it surprised me. I started watching the one in which you show your collection, I have to take time to finish it.Very nice channel! I want to make an electric zyther or lap-harp, that is how i fell in your channel!

Hey there! Thank you for watching my video showcasing my collection of cbgs. I'm excited about your upcoming electric zither or lap harp project. Please do post a video demonstrating your instrument after it's built. I'd love to see and hear it! ✨😀
