The high beam light still doesn't work on mine after I installed the LED headlights I think its just the nature of the LEDs. But love the OEM look with the new lights giving the 3g a new feel.

Love the 3rd gen. I have a 89 myself. Your videos are nice and mellow, no loud in your face with anything, props to you for that . Oh yea, you can work on your Prelude when your an adult too, Ha … any specific hardware/preventative advice on the lip and skirts to prevent water or even future rust ? 🤙🏼✌🏼

I believe the projector part only works for a halogen bulb since those light up directly as to leds only shine to the sides

they’re 1990s honda accord skirts im pretty sure :) he has a video for everything he’s done to it where he explains and shows how :)

Yessir I pulled those off a 94 accord at a junkyard. Cut them down a bit and bolted them onto the lude. Got a couple videos on them

Hey I would definitely recommend using nokya h6054 housings. I just installed them and they’re amazing. They’re a bit on the expensive side but it totally does the trick with leds!

Hey I’ve been watching for a handful of months, and I love the prelude content. I’m considering picking a 91 si up, however it’s an auto and i really want a stick. So if I were to manual swap it, what transmissions are compatible and would be easiest to swap out? I had someone say it would be easier to change the engine and transmission to a newer generation, but I don’t think I have that kind of time or money at the moment. Any help would really be appreciated!

any 3rd gen trans will bolt to any 3rd gen motor. Essentially you just need to find any 3rd gen transmission. If you end up with an 88’/89’ trans you need a clutch and pressure plate to match the trans for those years. Same if it were a 90’/91’ transmission. Hope that makes sense!

The ones I used in this video would work for your application. You want to search for 5x7 headlights. A lot of cars used that same style.

You shouldn’t need to change wiring. At most you may need a reverse polarity harness

Trans is doing great! Need to try to source new drain plug and fill plug gaskets from Honda but no complaints at all

What should I do if my tail lights r not coming on after I turn my headlights on? for some reason they turn off right when the lights pop up. its so weird bc i just got new bulbs. is it A fuse?

Sounds like a wiring issue. Do they work with the headlights off/not popped up?
