Nice tutorial, I had to figure this out the hard way a couple days ago, I had games that stopped working before the jailbreak came out, i also had problems with games that kept updating automatically, most older games was fine, the updates broke a small number of them.

I remember on the PSP early days there were methods to run games higher than the firmware versions using a patch tool or flicking a fake version on CFW.

I am on 5.05 myself. I might update my PS4 to 9.0 for this exploit but there is one thing I did not understand. Do I have to use a USB stick for this exploit or can I use a website like I currently do?

Instead of re-adding the DNS, can't you just UNcheck the option for the PS4 to automatically download game updates?

Havebt watched this yet but I've had to redownload and install multiple games because they auto updated in sleep mode even when its turned off completely so hopefully this'll solve that headache cause other than that, everything has been going smoothly and so fun with my new jailbroken ps4.

What about a tutorial on how to dumb dlc files from games? I can't find any tutorial here on youtube. I have lots of DLCs but don't know how to dumb all of them. Some of them I can find in the folder mnt/sandbox/pfsmnt But some others don't show up. There are DLC files and there are DLC unlockers. Some of them seem to be stored in different areas. How do all the people get these files?

I install this now. I did not had to change de dns settings to run the homebrew. That error is already fixed if you go to the mail page to download the patch installer.

Hello im very courius about something, now that we have 9.00 JB is there gonna be a anyway to have the latest update for FPKG, I want to know if you can take a retail update file and convert it into a FPKG so you can have all the latest updates and content that has been add to some games, a lot of games that are somewhat old, have a very early update file attached to it but late updates are far better. Install the retail game, install a retail patch, dump them both to fpkg’s. As far as I understand it, that’s the only way to do it. Unless you find a fpkg patch online, but I’ve had nothing but trouble getting them to work

2 questions 1) don't you still risk catching a system update by unblocking Sony servers even in the time it takes to unblock and download the game update and reblock? seems risky 2) if you install a game from a disc and that disc has the game update version for 9.03 then wouldn't the disc also contain the 9.03 system update as well? isn't there a risk of your console updating to 9.03 from the disc or do PS4 retail discs not contain system updates like PS3 discs did?

1) bro just run the payload disable updates and your ps4 will not update till you re enable it again even if you click on system software it will tell you that unable to download system software.,😎 2)Game disks does not contain system software it doesn't contain the update it just has the game our ps4 (if its connected to sony server) download the latest version for the game and system too
