You can upgrade the HDD with LuckFox Pico installed in the PS4. When upgrading the HDD, you need to reinstall the PS4 firmware. Make sure to install firmware version 11.00, not any version above it, or your PS4 will no longer be jailbreakable.

Is the solder point layout the same for the phat ps4 models, or do these points only relate to the slim/pro version of the console? About to attempt on this installation on a CUH-1001A model of the console. I know the available votltage map image on the net is that of the slim variant (B-SAD-003), so im not going to be able rely on it. Also wanted to know if i caught that last bit correctly, that we should tap into the usb +5v line for vbus in order to allow the chip to "reboot" itself on console reboots.

The Ethernet solder points are the same for all PS4 models. For the VBUS connection, I recommend taking it from the 5V point on the USB port.

So I followed the tutorial to the letter, and installed my Luckfox into the console. I get the PPPwnED notification, but then it says "payload not found" what did I do wrong? Can someone PLEASE help me?!

To activate the GoldHEN payload for the first time, you need to plug in a flash drive containing the "goldhen.bin" file in the root folder. This is only required to be done once. You can download the file here github.com/stooged/PI-Pwn/blob/main/USB%20Drive/goldhen.bin

By reverting the firmware, you can go back to the version you had before the firmware update.

I got one that will not connect.. I can flash it, see it under networks, change to IP. but after that nothing, \\172.32.0.93 brings up a folder but nothing in it and cant add files to it..

If you put it into Rest mode with the option of usb power delivery from settings turned off, doesn't that make the USBs turn off ?

Even when the PS4 is in rest mode, the USB ports remain active. That’s why we can still charge the controller while the PS4 is in rest mode.

Here's how to access the options : Settings > System. Select Power Saving > Features Available in Rest Mode. Set Supply Power to USB Ports to Always, 3 Hours or Off

Try plugging it into a different USB port, changing the USB cable, or testing it on another laptop/computer.

As far as I understand, after manually establishing the connection for the first time, the jailbreak process is done automatically when we turn the device off and on again. So, I don’t need to put the device into sleep mode, and if I take the device somewhere else, I won’t have to start the process from scratch. The automatic setup takes place, right? We just need to manually connect once, and then when we power it up via USB, the jailbreak is automatically performed. If this is correct, please confirm. I didn’t fully understand that part.

That's exactly right. The goal of to turn off Luckfox Pico after finishing the jailbreak is to prevent it from staying on all the time since it's no longer needed after the jailbreak is successful. This also helps extend the life of Luckfox, as the lucfoxpico mini can get hot quickly when it's running.

Hello everyone! I have a problem, the first chip was programmed and installed on the 2016 model fv 11.00 everything worked from the first in 20 minutes. The other two consoles 2116 and 2216 with other exactly the same chips will not work, everything works as it should pppwn owned then it happens that the notification Payload no script found comes out! Tried with several different chips the same settings the same programmed and connected but the same thing happens. Then I took out the chip from 2016 which works flawlessly and golden loads in about 20 seconds, and put some of these chips that did not work on 2116 and on 2216 and it works normally, everything finishes to the end and then again when it turns off and starts does golden load in 20-30 seconds? I took it apart a few times and checked if the wires were soldered properly and if the layout was correct, but everything is ok, every time I re-do it almost to the end and it says Payload script not found. I put the same chip that worked great in 2016 in 2216 and it also says Payload script not found! All PS4 is 11.00 Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions as to what the hell is going on!s to what the hell is going on! Thnx in advance!

Try checking the system menu - system information to see if your PS4 is getting an IP address from Lockfox. If not, it’s possible that the PPPWN script isn’t running.

Have you already entered the username and password in the network settings menu, PPPOE, on your PS4? If you have and it still isn’t working, try reinstalling the pppwn script. Make sure the script settings match the firmware version of your PS4.

Try checking if the PS4 is still getting an IP address after the golden payload is active. If it still is, it means Luckfox hasn't shut down. This could be the cause.

9.00 is much more stable, and you only need a flash drive for the jailbreak process. It's different from the one that uses the Luckfox Pico.
