Installing rear turn signals on a 1986 Honda Rebel 250

Recently purchased a 1986 Honda Rebel CMX250C and it didn't have rear turn signals! They must have been removed by a previous owner. I picked up a cheap pair online so let's figure out how to install them!

Did you ever fix the issue of them not blinking? I'm putting on aftermarket taillights. And having the same exact issue that stays solid. Did you ever figure it out? If so, please let me know, is it just replacing the relay?

it is a relay issue. if the resistance of the new lights isnt the same itll keep the relay open. or if the new lights are LEDs. LED lights actually fried my tail light fuse

Absolutely! And I think I do need to replace it. The signal still doesn't blink at idle even though the battery is supplying enough volts. Once I get to it, I'll have this video link to the new. Thank you for watching!

Where did you get those bags

They came with the bike! I don't see any identifying brand or logo - the only thing is each bag has a piece of colored nylon strapping stitched to each side. And they are light blue and orange in color - imgur.com/a/svK8WUg
