Is there an option for companies that don't have AD, meaning they are Entra ID only?

Thank you for your question and reaching out. I can understand you are having query\issues related to RDS workgroup Licensing. If you are using a workgroup server, you must use per-device CALs. For more information, see License your RDS deployment with client access licenses (CALs). " Basically, the only requisite would be the CALs to use RDS. @@indigosoftware9625 Thx. I spent some time yesterday and for my needs, I think Azure Virtual Desktop is more appropriate. I don't need to configure Entra Domain Services

f you can’t find Active Directory Users and Computers in Tools on Windows Server 2022, it might not be installed. Here’s how to install it: Open Server Manager: Go to Start > Server Manager. Add Roles and Features: In Server Manager, select Manage > Add Roles and Features. Proceed through the wizard until you reach Features. Install AD DS and AD Administrative Tools: Scroll down and check AD DS (Active Directory Domain Services) if you haven’t already added it. Also check AD DS and AD LDS Tools under Remote Server Administration Tools. Click Next and Install. Access AD Users and Computers: After installation, go to Server Manager > Tools, and you should now see Active Directory Users and Computers listed. If it still doesn’t show, try restarting the server. Let me know if you need more help!
