Thanks for the video. I recently bought side vents for one of my cars from Jan in Belgium and will be installing sometime in the future. It's always great to see someone else who's done it show you the way.

Is Jen the one who bought the last mold that had about one more pole that could be made from it to make a new set of molds originally designed by and ultimately sold to him by AusFiero?

Wow, no one has commented since my last one almost a year ago. As a suggestion, if you want to see your cold air cone through the scoop, you need to come in from the engine bay at a roughly 45* angle from the rear, so the cone basically is pointing toward the scoop opening. Also, you should pull them off again and epoxy in some black screens to keep the leaves and other debreise out of the air box area that will clog the filter. You can get the screen material at a "have everything" supply store. I just shaped the screens to the back shape of the scoop, then epoxied them in place.

Very nice. This is how it should have been from factory. Have also tried finding a pair of these but no luck so far. Its a bit tricky when living in Sweden to search for ads. The scoops, the falconer intake and super duty 4cyl are some of those things that would be really cool to get hold of 🙂 Oh yeah one of the alu v6 blocks also.

Where did you buy your Side Skirts with the winglets, and front Air Dam? I’ve been looking for a set for my 86 GT. I want it to look as modern as possible, since I’m doing a 3800S/C Swap. Thanks for the video I subscribed.
@FieroKyle2 жыл бұрын
The side skirts are just 3 piece universal side skirts, you can find them on eBay or Amazon or anywhere like that. My front lip I made, it’s an early 2000’s bonneville spoiler flipped upside down with an early 2000’s mustang front lip on the bottom of that that I had to make fit, then I had to make the sides to help it follow the front bumper shape

Nice Fiero..! Very nice side scoops..! Mine are the recessed style, but yours look good too. Just my opinion, but those black extensions on your ground affects, take away from the beautiful stock design of the ground affects. Leave them off IMHO...!?
@That_Handle2 жыл бұрын
As much as I can appreciate the stock lines, I do like something in between the stock lines and the extreme that's shown here. There are very few videos addressing the options of dress for the chin and wouldn't mind seeing more videos covering the range of ideas that applications. Wouldn't mind a removable splitter for the track and stowing their cables in the car when not in use so I wouldn't be scraping around here when cruising while still retaining a bit of a drop chin - slightly below the stock line - when on the street/highway possibly even improving air flow and driving less of it underneath the car.

@@That_Handle Good comments, but there again, it adds to much extra unnecessary stuff to the already well designed (GT especially) lines, that are so clean, smooth and sexy. It starts to become a Christmas tree. It's kind of like custom wheels, they can go either way, add too or take away from the stock beauty of the machine...! Example: I've wanted some nice after market wheels on my GT, but hard to find the right ones and the right size. And good fitment is a must. My son bought an '88 coupe that had an expensive set of five spoke silver 17" wheels, and they looked great on the white car, but when we put them on my red GT, wow...everything just popped, if you know what I mean?! They look similar to the the stock wheels they put on the Ferrari 355, but better, with the little yellow Horse, or Pegasus in my case, two inch hub cap. Long story is that everything must balance out, and look like it belongs...! Things as simple as the aspect ratio on the tires, is very important in affecting the overall look....!
