So it's been a year now, how do you like the set up? I'm think I'm going with the same (4) 8" speakers, and 4 ch.100w amp with a fusion deck. It going in a 21' Striper dual console.

Can you tell a big difference between the 6.5's and the 8's? I just ordered two pairs of 6.5's but was on the fence about getting one set of each.

Sorry for the delay. Yes the 8’s have way more bass. I’m really glad I went with both. Sounds like I have a sub hooked up

No worries. I went with four 6.5's because I already had holes for them and I couldn't be happier for the money. Plenty of volume even while running my pontoon with a 115 4 stroke.

Yeah they sound great!! Honestly they get louder than I would ever listen with out distorting. Just had to tube the amp a little I’d highly recommend them.

If you ran only the 8” does the music sound clear and crisp. They say it’s a full range but just wanted to know if I did only 8” full range would it still sound normal or super bass heavy.

Yeah it’s super crisp, I actually have my 6.5’s running off the head unit only no amp so I really only hear the 8’s and they’re perfect

I just ran it to the ground terminal on my bus bar behind the dash

Scale from 1-10. As far as sound quality. If JL Audio is a 10 where do you rate Skar Audio

Honestly it’s on par if not better than the JL audio setups I’ve had in the past. I’ve already got several compliments on it at the dock.
