When you were running the power wire did you have much spare room? I am debating running 0 gauge in mine, but I don’t know if there will be room or if I should maybe run 2 sets of 4 gauge.

I realized i didnt have a lot of room to work with using the power cord provided in the kit, wasnt fun getting all the paneling locked back into place but eventually made it work. was just a pain in the ass, i had to work with what i had

Are you finding the bass satisfactory still? I've installed a sub in mine with a line out converter like you did, and it seems like the head unit is messing up the EQ of the subs. Totally confused at this point - been adjusting amp settings, subs, etc for like a year and just seems like the bass is very lacking. Also have two 12's, Rockford 500 watt amp.

Ur not alone. It really isn’t the greatest compared to my Golf R but it’s way better than what the bass is on the stock system. I’ll take what I can get lol

@@KaylaKolben I ended up buying the kicker KeyLOC (another $130 thrown at the problem lol) and it actually made an enormous difference. There must be a factory eq that is applied because after swapping from the KisLOC to the KeyLOC the frequency response of the subs is dramatically better. It’s a hard pill to swallow but it actually did solve my problem. I just installed it yesterday.

Number 5 is the only free ignition activated 12v in the fuse box. I’m assuming that one
