Hope it doesn’t break, cause mine broke(near the brake light bend and it was hanging with the support of indicators wire) while I was travelling and it scratched the paint and damaged the rear mud guard completely..

Do the turn lights point upwards in an angle after the installation? What is the double sided tape used for?

Yes a little and double tape is used for not to touch the light plastic to fender
