Installing the Active Start 50 AMP ACS50W Softstart and EMS

Active Controls has created a unique product for RV travel, the ActiveStart 50 Amp SoftStart with enhanced EMS, and Surge Protection model ACS50P. This is the installed version 50 amp powered RVs. The ACS50W is equipped with 2 softstarts, one for each the L1 and L2 power circuits and also contains surge protection and energy management. We show the where the ACS50W is installed and test running two 15000 BTU RV air conditioners with our 5th wheel powered by a 3500 Watt generator.
