Cool I guess but they put those requirements for a reason. They usually go above but wattage of a typical system stressing for a period of time, it may work fine now but as efficiency goes down and maybe more gets added to the system that comes into play. You move a little bit slower to give your camera time to focus on details. Especially the keyway of the power connectors. Not all 8-pin connectors have the same keyway, or fit.
@ThisBytesForYou5 ай бұрын
actually they all do, all PCIE connectors do, it's a standard, if not it is CPU EPS, which works for the CPU only. Now there is a 6+2 PIn connector, which equals 8 which is also PCIE 8 Pin. As for the focus.... That is the bane of my existence, I have such a hard time with that. if/when I get bigger, I will grow this from a 1 man show to at least a 3 man show, heck maybe more, who knows, but for now, gotta keep pushing. Thanks so much for stopping by.

Love how informative your video is. Hope you can answer my question I have a MSI Pro b550m-p gen3 motherboard with a Gigabyte 3070 8gb OC Edition installed. My 3070 broke and I wanted to replace with the Sapphire Nitro+ 7900gre. Would you know if it will fit? pcbuilder says it is compatible but when I look at my cpu and check the dimensions of the 7900gre, its pretty sketchy. Thank you in advance
@ThisBytesForYou2 ай бұрын
Depends on your case, CPU is your processor, not your computer. Is this for a pre built store bought PC, if so what is the exact model number and manufacturer of the PC, if it's for a custom built PC what is the manufacturer and model number of your case. And for both pre built and custom, what is the manufacturer and model number of your power supply. If you are not sure, you have the PC in front of you, look inside.

Is UEFI or Legacy Setup in the BIOS? 10. What slots do you have your RAM installed in? 11.Do you have CSM Enabled or Disabled in the BIOS 12. Is your Hard Drive/SSD with Windows set to GPT or MBR? 13. This video will help you identify hardware inside your PC: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bGa9hJyMftJ9rpI

@@chrisostreicher9798 ok cool, so you have everything which is great, So I am not sure what cable you are using, but if its HDMI, you will need an HDMI 2.1 cable, if its DP, you need to make sure its 1.4, this comes directly from AMD. So to get back into windows, disconnect all your cables on the back of you machine, USB, power, HDMI/DP, etc, no cables, then remove the CMOS battery for 60 seconds, after 1 minute, connect all the cables on the back of the machine and pop the battery back in. Make sure your HDMI/DP cable is connected to the graphics card, not the onboard IO. Since your BIOS has been reset, go back in the BIOS, load XMP, save and exit then go back into windows and you "should" be good, I HIGHLY recommend updating your BIOS as well to the latest BIOS Version.

650w psu is enough in my rig. Glad did not have to upgrade it too
@ThisBytesForYou3 ай бұрын
Good stuff my friend, but this card states that the minimum recommended is 700Watts. Thats not to say it won't work with a 650, the 700Watts takes into account a typical system, since of course the card itself doesn't consume 700 watts, even 650Watts. I go large, I have used 1200 and 1000Watts for years, haven't needed to buy a new Power supply in over 15 years, well other than needed for better build guides to buy ones with 12VHP connectors. This has saved me tons of money from having to buy a PSU every time I upgrade, pay a few dollars more upfront and save tons over the course of a few years. www.xfxforce.com/shop/xfx-radeon-tm-rx-7900-gre#2 Requirements External Power: 2x PCI-E 8 pin connections Minimum Power Supply Requirement: 700 watt

@ThisBytesForYou3 ай бұрын
Sag will happen overtime, you know gravitation, unless of course you install the card vertically. Funny with all the systems I build as Product Development Engineer for Alienware, then later Dell then Later Velocity Micro selling systems with 5 year warranties sometimes, never happened. I state it in the videos why I install them the way I do, to make it easier to record but it doesn't really mater how you install the card as long as you don't have any ESD and the system is off.
