Tom switched from residential to highway and then does primarily industrial. At least he released more than three videos this year. I'm trying to remember if it was Tom who didn't like the guys running around London on scooters, but after watching him take the train, it makes more sense to bust around on a scooter for quick jobs. You just can't bring along the microwave and kitchen sink.

Diesel doesn't go off but moisture/water in the tank with Diesel can lead to bacteria that eats the Diesel.

B7 diesel tends so get growth in it but I doesn’t go bad. For cases where it has to be stored for long periods of time you should use B0.

Not much point in having an auto changeover if the generator doesn't have any fuel in it. Even a smallish one like that which is what, 100kVA, will chew through 10-15 litres an hour any sort of reasonable load so it doesnt last long. And due to the government in 2022, you can't put red diesel in them any longer either.

Microwaves are never any good on inverters and generators. they present a crap load due the fact the microwave magnetrons are high power dc units and some only use halfwave rectification so all the power on only one half of the mains cycle.

Diesel is hygroscopic though, absorbs moisture from the air.
@andljoy10 сағат бұрын
@@retiree1033 this is true. but i believe it will sit on the water so you can drain the bottom of the tank .

What’s your thoughts on road tax for pick up trucks rising to £5.5k per year ?

Not seen this... I ordered a new Ford 3.0 Raptor 2 months ago
@hotdeal315610 сағат бұрын
Great news isn’t it, about time they penalised them, single cabs are exempt anyway and if a pickup is genuinely required that’s what they should be, not for tradies wife’s to run the kids to school.

Most of that area was bonded warehouses and engineering shops for the dock and Thames lighterage, my family went back generations in engineering over there. Id be more worried about drilling and hitting something from the 2nd world disagreement, seen loads pulled out over the years ... Dogsh*t install on that inverter, better off with a b2b charger than a relay, it will mess up the alternator over time 2 secondary batteries of 180ah each would be better to run higher currents for a microwave/ kettle etc
@joehomanick3 сағат бұрын
Tom you need to blob a snot weld on those nuts that hold down those chargers .💯💯 people are gonna pull up unbolt and have a really nice charger at the house for free . . They would be gone around my way. 😳😁😁

Nonsense, there is no turning back now, right or wrong, all political parties will force this forward. Just like renewables, some might not like it but it’s definitely a growth industry.

deisel going off in 3-6 months o.O!! thats new to me with someone with 2 trucks with 500 litre sliptanks attached to them and 4 2000 litre fuel tanks (1petrol/1diesel shiptank and 2petrol/2diesel storage tanks) we have had diesel stored for over 1 year and a half and it was fine, petrol we dont hold as much of but the tanks are there in case.
