INSTALLING the ComforTroll D-LUX recessed TROLLING MOTOR TRAY

Finally got around to installing my new ComforTroll recessed tray on my Champion bass boat! Install went well with no issues..... other than some anxiety from CUTTING A HOLE IN MY BOAT! Great video...I have the same setup. My damaged back was making a Saturday fishing a 3 day nightmare backache. It helps tremendously. I was getting instant pain just trying to balance my weight with one legg up. Cheap investment and it was easy and looks great. Might help with resale? But it's very useful.

I know it hasn't quite been a month, but do you recommend this after having fished it a few times? I'm thinking of the exact Mod to my boat (to help my back out) but am nervous about the hole in my deck.

Thanks for the question and the sub! It really helps with hip and leg fatigue, or at least it did for me. I’ve got a bad back and I noticed a big difference. Not sure which kind of boat you have but I’d join a boating group on social media or just look up info on the deck layout for your boat. As long as there’s nothing in the way you’ll be good to go. I was nervous too about cutting the deck but just take your time and you’ll be good👍👍
