Bigger Battery and still struggling on the trail! 😔
FC Models really need to revisit their electronics setup.
After a disappointing 1st test on the trail it got me thinking, what's really to blame for the bad performance?
Looking back at the footage I had it seemed to handle the 1st half of the trail pretty well, it had plenty of power and took on some pretty steep inclines.
It was only towards the 2nd half of the trail that performance seemed to dip.
I put it down to a small capacity battery combined with a 260 motor.

1st impressions of this truck were very good!
Amazingly detailed killer hardbody, folding wing mirrors with reflective glass, opening doors, hood & boot!
The interior is just as detailed with front and rear seats, reflective rear view mirror with little sun visors too!
Functional headlights and reverse/brake lights.
Fully proportional axle mounted servo steering.
Fully proportional throttle that's got a nice slow modulation.
260 motor.
Nice big soft tyres.
Runs on 7.4v(500mah battery and charger included.

good stuff, don't know if its the same ratio gearbox as MN's, which is super nice swapping the 260 motor for a 2 dollar 280 motor is 5-6 mm longer. lots more power for cheap!

Hallo! can i ask a question? I want to change the control panel in my rc car to use a bigger servo. (old panel is a Fayee F003 without 3pin Servo socket, the new what i want is a F003-01 what you use) How will the new panel connect with the original remote control after the replacement? how can i solve this?

Hi mate,don't know if you can help but I have the same ESC/rec unit in my eat 01. Do you know what the red and yellow sockets are in the top left corner putting the 3 pin servo output bottom right? I'm hoping they're led outs,and also the socket behind the motor one,is that for a second motor? Hope you can help,derrick.

Nice idea, did you end up testing it out after the mods and did it behave similar to the FY003-1? I got an FY66 which I would consider getting the Fayee transmitter/receiver kit for.

No not damaged, just wernt powerful enough for my liking that's why I upgraded to the fayee board. The battery upgraded helped massively with run time 😁
