I have a 2000 Dodge Dakota 4.7 SLT 4X4 quad cab. Can I swap out my 4.7 for a hemi and also swap out my auto transmission for a manual ? If so what suggestions would you have . I'd appreciate any input ; I'm very serious about putting a manual into the Dakota . Especially since it's 4X4

I believe it is possible the only issue would be oil pan and motor mounts due to the front axle and drive shaft besides that it's all the same

@@gearhead4266Ive contacted Holley and they said they don't make it for the 4x4 so makes me wanna show em how it's done. But it be quite the undertaking. Especially since it'll be a complete truck overhaul. It's sitting at 201k miles now. What would be a best guestimate to overhaul it . Engine , drivelines (4x4 transfer case) , cooling , exhaust , suspension lift , brakes, ECT. I was hoping it'd be in the neighborhood of like 15k at most. But I think it'll be more like 20k if I'm lucky and if that includes paint, lights,

@@gearhead4266 wow really ? Not bad ! But wasn't that just the engine? Plus I'm looking to do the trans swap at the same time . Along with everything else . The repairs and upgrades . Put in dual exhaust, 3" lift with sway links along with other suspension repairs and possible axels. Along with new radiator , new fuel filter, brakes, paint job along with getting the original style canopy my truck had before I got it and someoks took it off ... new headlights , tint, probably forgetting some important things but that's a lot of the main.

They are hooker headers but I believe they have been discontinued unfortunately.
