Installing The Poison Spyder Brawler Rockers On A Jeep Wrangler JKU

Lagatha Still had the old, Faded ugly plastic steps that come from the factory so it was time for an upgrade that improved the looks AND Offered better protection!
That's where the Poison Spyder Brawler Rockers come in!
Jeep JK's, especially the long wheelbase 4-door Unlimited, are extremely vulnerable to rocker armor damage on the trail. Brawler Rockers are two-piece "mini-boat side" style rocker armor. Each component is fabricated entirely of CNC-laser cut, precision brake-formed 3/16" plate steel.
The lower piece incorporates an extremely strong rub rail that protrudes about 3¼" outboard of the Jeep's body tub. The top surface of the rub rail may also serve as an entry step. Below, the brake-formed 3/16" plate steel angles down and inward to form a high clearance boat side for sliding off of rocks and obstacles. Inside, an array of beefy 3/16" thick internal gussets provide ultimate strength to the Brawler Rocker.
The ends of the Brawler Rockers are capped in the same 3/16" plate steel, in angled facets that allow up to a 40" tire and visually integrate with the lines of Poison Spyder front and rear JK Crusher Flares.

A great looking rig! Noticing that metal panel at the back of your front fender, who makes that and what is it called. And is the black on the hood part of that as well? Hard to tell. Thanks from Canada eh 🇨🇦

Thanks buddy! The fender liners are made by Artec and the hood vent is made by Poison Spyder just like the rails

I really like the video I just have a couple questions I hope you can answer for me. Can you just bolt on the bottom part of the slider? Also do you have to drill into the frame to bolt the bottom part on?

I definitely don’t think I would bolt just the bottom because I imagine you could have a lot of bouncing around if you didn’t attach it to the rocker panel. No, you definitely don’t have to drill into the frame it attaches with the three body mount bolts.
