I like this idea better than using the screw to expand the end as shown in other videos. You also had a special tool you made to mushroom the ends. I liked that better. I just wished this method came out before I installed my tubing. I used the screw method. It was a challenge expanding the end of the tubing enough to have enough tubing to mushroom. Thanks for sharing. I would have definitely used this method. Best so far. Thanks

Wish i seen this before i installed helix drive on my recon. Tube was hardest part, but this way looks much better. Where do you get tubing and spectra cord from? Wilderness doesn't show it on their website. Thanks!

What is the steel wire you used to feed through the kayak? I'm about to start an install of tubing but having trouble finding anything to help me feed through yhe yak.

The wire is brace wire for fencing. You can get it at any farm supply store.
