I have finally created my opinion of the perfect exhaust for the 2008 Honda Accord V6! There's a perfect amount of volume, rasp and the pitch in the high RPMs is lovely.

I received a magnaflow resonator i have the same set up as you the rv6 j pipe and the precat deletes with a magnaflow dual muffler and have the nastiest sound between 25k and 35k rpms sounds like a swarm of bees that I detest so much do you think that magnaflow rez would make it sound like yours, been looking to make it sound similar

@@Loso0315 I don't own one of these, but as someone that has done dozens of custom exhausts on all sorts of cars, getting rid or resonators for some perceived hp gain is a bad choice, its generally raspy. Get a nice 10-12" vibrant or magnaflow res in the right diameter off of amazon and enjoy your car. Makes a huge difference in tone.

Depends on whether or not you work on cars to an extent and can swap back parts in case you need to test for emissions, as most gasoline vehicles do in most places.

Hey bro I have a honda accord 2012 coupe I removed the silencers and I put some exhausts and it sounds loud but very rough.. and now I found your video and I like the tone that you recommend me.. Changing parts might change the way the engine feels, but it won't add a whole lot of power without a tune. You have to retune the computer to be able to take advantage of the increased air flow, and if you change the exhaust, you probably have to change stuff on the intake side too, at least if you are chasing more power. For sound alone, a tune isn't needed

It depends on the setup. Sometimes messing with exhaust and intake will actually *decrease* horsepower because it messes with the balance of the system. Usually it results in a small gain tho

With muffler delete and When you delete the stock resonator and add the vibrant resonator it sounds loud with a rawr tone deep sounds so nice. With just the muffler delete it just sounds loud but not nice u feel me ?

@@abc.garage from. the head rv6 pre-cat, rv6 j pipe, (whole piping system 2.5) 19” vibrant bottle size, after the Y pipe two vibrant 12” bottle size with 4” in tips. Stage 2 clutch with lightweight flywheel, P2rPorted runners, and spacers. K&n intake. It's been E tune from Tuner. (Ebc tec ) In my areas. They only do LS Tone. No import . One day I take it to a Dundee. Tbh accord is very quick! I'm afraid to drive it

A quarter-length tuning pipe kills droning. The same scientific approach that new car makers use. (A dead end quarter length pipe creates a half wavelength interference wave that cancels the problem frequency. You must use a frequency finding app on your phone to determine the drone frequency, in hz, that you want to eliminate first.)

I've got a red 2010 6-6. I was considering just doing a muffler delete, but this sounds sweet, maybe I'll go all custom like this. Not sure what muffler I'd use tho. I'm scared the muffler delete would be too loud. Is this quieter than a muffler delete? It must be right? Either way I'm probably going to change the stock resonator for a vibrant one (unless i like how the stock one sounds).

This is about the same volume as a muffler delete, but just sounds better bc it still has the resonators

Hopefully you’ve figured it out by now, but you should keep in mind that the setup in the video has no cats. It’s a huge difference for a stock muffler delete VS a catless setup w/ a 3” single exit catback.
