Sounds like a great time to get into dentistry. The amount of fluoride that was tested to have an effect was more than twice what most water districts add. But it's probably worth adding one just because of all of the PFAS chemicals and chlorine.

"Nice Slice" 😆 Where'd you run discharge hose to? And where'd you tap into for water supply? PS- yes Ive only drank Reverse Osmosis water for mannnny years. Decades. My dad worked for a company when they first started doing it for consumers. So much better tasting. And the chemicals they put in where I live now are even worse than Chlorine! Look up Chloramine. It doesn't evaporate like chlorine either

The reason to use the remineralized water other than getting the nutritious minerals is the taste. Fortunately here in Hawaii, we have water either from the sky directly into catchment tanks or from very deep wells. No fluoride added. I am glad to hear the rest of the world is catching on to the fluoride problem. I have been aware of it of some 20 years and eliminated it from my home in as much time. When I install an R. O. system, I sometimes employ the use of a condensation pump to catch the R. O. waste water and send it outside onto the ground or back into a catchment system if one is being used. From one successful handyman to another, kudos on your informative and inspiring videos.

I have an RO system, works great. It wasn't a cheap option, it's the Kinetico K5. Also is in the basement and delivers great water flow. I do have the mineral cartridge in there as well.

Totally agree on the smell of chlorine in regular tap water. I’ve had an RO system for years and I’ll never go without one. Water is soooo much better!

Ro water is a must in rural areas. They don't floridate the water, but my bathrooms all smell like a swimming pool because of all the chlorine.

I bought the Express RO system that has like 11 stages of filtering. I haven't put it in yet but likely going to need to do some hackery with my plumbing to get it to go where i want it. The reason i bought this one is because replacement filters are pretty affordable. This system will replace my 5x 5 gallon jug water dispenser we use so I hope to get that up by the end of the year

Fun fact. We are one of only a few countries that fluoridate our water and it's NOT the same fluoride as in our toothpaste.

Much more concerned with well water, than most city water. Fluoride is dangerous…at levels double what municipal water is kept at. And sadly, there’s no one really left from before we started adding fluoride to water, who can tell folks how everyone’s teeth were rotted out of their head by the age of 40. I’m sure that wouldn’t be a problem now though, with the lack of sugar in all our food. 🙄 Meanwhile, if you have a well anywhere near a farm, your Parkinson’s risk is nearly tripled. Neato!
