What do you charge an hour to make $1500? Or do you charge a flat rate for your jobs? Do you have a minimum charge or minimum 1,2 hours?

Could you do the round-over with a router bit and then sand smooth to save some time?

The video is informative. My question is why pre catalized primer is not used in the process.

I think it’s disingenuous to blame a sub-standard roller on the Rustoleum side that you purchased. The better sponge like roller could have been purchased. I also think the true test is after normal daily use what it looks like at year 1, 2 and 3.

Thanks! Great video! What would you do if you did all this and then needed to trim off excess line set after it was installed? Would you turn off the refrigerant from the mini split, cut and reflare the lines, and then vacuum the lines again?

Lol 🤣 handyman... Get a bandsaw!! All that mess cutting that cast piping.. for no reason. $100 at harbor freight. Would have taken 60 seconds at most to cut that. And would have been exponentially safer and much clearer of a cut. Come on brother. 🤦

Question, do you put a clear coat such as Polycrylic over the top of the lacquer after the final coat? Is the lacquer durable enough to prevent it scratching off easily?

I replaced the blower motor of my AC unit after 10 years of service. Had to buy a puller to remove blower wheel. Cleaned 20 yo blower wheel. On startup there was excessive vibration. Got a new blower wheel from Amazon for $66 and installed it. No vibration and very much quieter than before. Lesson: If you remove an old part, replace it with new.

What router bit set are you using? I like how beefy those tools look. I tend to find a lot of the tooling they sell in consumer market places have specs that don't work for how I like to build my doors. Often when the specs are close to what I want, I find the tooling isn't beefy enough and have inconsistencies in accuracy.

I got one of those mechanical pencil things. I figured if I spent a little more money I wouldn't lose it. The alternative was buying a thousand carpenter pencils and put them everywhere, but then I'd always be sharpening them.
