Are there any attachments you WOULDN'T recommend using with the 22" extensions to straddle 30" wide beds? I've never used a two wheel tractor before but I'm very strongly considering ordering this one by Christmas. Are there any disadvantages to having it permanently set up that way if all I will ever be doing is maintaining established 30" rows with the power harrow, flail mower, bed shaper, and compost spreader? What does the overall width outside-tire-edge to outside-tire-edge become with the 22" extension? Thanks so much!

Great questions! If your use of the tractor will be confined to working 30" beds, there's no disadvantage to leaving the wheel extensions mounted. The only caveat would be if you are using raised beds that you plan to re-establish with the Rotary Plow attachment. The 22" extensions would need to be removed for the Rotary Plow to work properly. There are different standard wheel widths for different tractors. Our most popular models (853, 749, 739) have a 22" width from outside-tire to outside-tire, and with the 22" extensions installed the width becomes 44" overall, with approximately 34" between the tires.
