So I upload it with extreme tried getting my wifi board to flash but every time I do it says “sd card can’t mount” or something tried reformatting it tried everything to the point I’m reaching out to KZbin comments so if anyone has a fix plz hooks a brother up with a link or a list of things to try

The web updater now works over bluetooth. You should still have your flipper plugged in to power while you update fw though.

You can't ″also″ install Xtreme on top of Unleashed and have a hybrid of both. If you install Xtreme, you'll lose Unleashed.

That's strange, are you on the latest version (v50)? If yes, check your LCD settings. Change it once to sort of ″re-register″ it. If that doesn't work, you should contact Xtreme support.

It's not plug-and-play. You'd have to first flash the Marauder firmware onto the dev board.

Are you using Chrome? Also, try connecting your Zero _before_ getting to the web updater page and see if that helps.

How do I resolve the api mismatch error for the few apps I already had installed prior to the extreme update? The apps appear to work but I do get an error on a few of them.

@@shurikenhacks I figured out that I had installed a few apps via the mobile app using OFW prior to updating to Extreme. I deleted my apps folder then reinstalled extreme firmware which seems to have fixed the API mismatch. Thanks for the response and thanks for the videos. Your content has definitely helped flatten the learning curve for the Flipper.

@@shurikenhacks hate to take your time but ive got another question. Last night I was playing around with firmwares and had downloaded rogue master and xtreme. Had issued completely clearing it as the firmwares kinda mashed together. Now with the stable firmware I can't enable Bluetooth or see the Bluetooth icon showing its on or off. Basically my question is, can I completely clear it as if it was out of box by deleting files in the flashed section or do I need to wipe it another way? (Tried the erase feature on qflipper and didn't really work)

You can try deleting the /apps/ directory and _then_ installing a custom firmware (or the qFlipper one). Or if you want to start afresh AF, format/delete everything on the card and re-initialize the Zero like new.

I've experienced _very_ minimal crashes, which I personally find negligible considering Xtreme has a lot more to offer than Unleashed.

TL;DR: First fail, then success. Brand new Flipper Zero. Just executed this web installer and it failed with SD card I/O error. The setup did many retries, which caused the setup to run for almost 15 minutes before finally endign on the SD card error. In my case it repeatedly tried doing the "updating resources" step. BUT changing the SD card actually did the trick.

Can't comment on that because I turn off the Zero when not in use, am connected via USB 70% of the time testing things, and I don't use mine extensively when not connected. I wouldn't worry about battery-life due to the low consumption.

Any of the 3 main custom firmwares essentially _add_ features to the official one. If you ever even _do_ miss anything, you could always go back to official firmware without losing any data.
