How did you anchor the passenger front two bracket bolt on the top? My 2500HD didn’t have any holes on the top for the front two bracket, just the holes on the bottom of the rocker panel.
@BMPowered
@BMPowered 3 жыл бұрын
Hmmm, really? Mine had factory bolt holes on the front two holes.
@BMPowered
@BMPowered 3 жыл бұрын
You could take a large drill bit and make your own anchor points. Not ideal, but would work.

@@BMPowered yeah, I thought it was the strangest thing. The driver side had holes, but the passenger side didn’t for the front two brackets on the top. I looked at the instructions, but the illustrations wasn’t clear on how to passenger side front two bracket top bolt were to be mounted. I might have to get a bigger drill bit and do just that, & use the supplied u-clips. Thanks for getting back to me and confirming yours has it. Maybe those holes only exist on the 1500s?

How are they in the rain / snow? Do they get slick?

Actually not bad. We did just have an ice storm and yes, very slick with ice, but would be the same with any. I really like them.

My driver side is closer to the front an my passenger side is closer to the back. Not sure why an you can really slide adjust because you're just turning the bracket an then its not flush.
@BMPowered
@BMPowered 3 жыл бұрын
That's odd. Now, you can loosen the bolts underneath and slide the actual step forward or back and towards or away from the truck. I had to adjust mine.
@ogbose49
@ogbose49 3 жыл бұрын
@@BMPowered thanks, I did slide the outwards on both sides but just weird that they are closer in opposite directions. I think maybe if I turned one around but then it wouldn't look right with the pattern on top but oh well. The metal edges were sharp though, cut my thump open twice so gloves is a good idea. Thanks for the help.

My holes on the rockers aren’t very good due to rust. Do you have to use those holes or will the fram just be okay?
@BMPowered
@BMPowered 3 жыл бұрын
If you can find or make holes in the frame for all the mount points, then yes. If not, I doubt it will be sturdy enough.

I'm curious if you figured out a fix for this? I'm running into the same problem. Of the bolts on the front driver and passenger I can only get one to thread and it's super tight. I wondered for a minute if the hardware was too big. But now I'm thinking it's the rust.
