At 12:07 the answer comes out to be 402 Rs. This is the amount of money I as the borrower should give every year to the lender. But after 3 years I have repayed him 3 * 402 = 1206 Rs which is less than the total debt (1331 i.e. the amount of money I owe him). I am not able to understand how the lender will allow me to pay less than I am supposed to?
@crackaptitudewithSarika3 жыл бұрын
Durvesh.. in that sum you are not only paying 1206Rs but you are also paying the interest on it. That is the reason we multiply x with 1.21 in the first case and x with 1.1 in the second case. So, it is 402 plus the interest. Hope this helps !!

Mam , in the first case the value of x came as 393 but 393×3 !=(not equal) 1300. I was reading the comments where you have explained we have to add it with interest But if we are ultimately paying the same amount why not just devide 1300/3=433 & pay that? Please explain mam
@crackaptitudewithSarika3 жыл бұрын
Hey ... see in this case alongwith the installment you have to pay the interest as well (as here installment is barely like a principal value) So when you pay the first installment the interest is charged for the remaining 2 years... then when you pay the second installment the interest is charged on the remaining 1 year... (so basically your interest keeps on reducing ) so generally banks operate on this principle .. they charge more interest initially as they have to recover the money... eventually it reduces.. However at 433.. initially they wont be getting 2 years interest.. so they don't follow that process ... Hope this helps !

Mam how can we equate 424 to 1060 as,424, is equal installement + interest and 1024 is only amt without interest. Shouldnt't 424 = 1060+4%(1060)????
@crackaptitudewithSarika3 жыл бұрын
Hey... 1060 is the total debt...which means the total amount ...and total amount is always installment + interest !! I hope this answers your query
@hridaydas84033 жыл бұрын
Mam, Why we don't get any interest on the last 100 even if we held it for the 3 years, thanks .
@crackaptitudewithSarika3 жыл бұрын
@hriday .. that's cos we are already charging interest for 2years in case of the first installment.. and interest for 1 year in case of the second installment. So, in a way it is already balanced there . Hope this helps!! Apology for delayed reply !

ma'am, SI part, if equal installment is rs 'x', and i am also paying the interest 'xrt/100', that means, i am not actually paying rs 'x' but rs 'x +xrt/100'. if that is the case, why do we say, equal installment, when it is not equal? installment topic is very confusing

But shouldn’t instalment be less than the total amount payable. How can equate the amount calculated on SI and instalment?
@crackaptitudewithSarika3 жыл бұрын
When you pay some money installments...the net amount which you pay is always more than the amount which is paid in a one shot amount ...
@pratikadhussa38323 жыл бұрын
@@crackaptitudewithSarika I’m talking about the case when you pay the entire amount after 3 years vs when we pay instalments during the 3 years.
@crackaptitudewithSarika3 жыл бұрын
@@pratikadhussa3832 Hey... Installments at SI generally means - instead of paying all the money at one shot, you are paying it in parts, that's it. That in no way means you will be paying less than the total amount to be paid post 3 years. I hope it is clear now . Apology to reply late

Instalments to be paid at each tenure should be same, but according to you we will be paying different amounts at each tenure...Why to add that interest of remaining year in instalment?
@crackaptitudewithSarika2 жыл бұрын
Hey.. the installments at each tenure are the same.. if u check the part that changes is your interest value. The concept here is let's say you were going to pay the money after 4 years.. but you decide to pay it in installments starting from year 1. So you paid the first installment 3 years prior to the actual date .. so the bank will generate interest on this money. That is the interest I have taken here. So, eventually when you pay in installments, you are paying less than the money u were required to pay after 4 years. Hence, Installment + Interest = Amount Due If you still have queries, I would recommend you to watch this video - kzbin.info/www/bejne/p6KXgaNqpdppesU Hope it's clear now ! 🙂
@onkarhande87642 жыл бұрын
@@crackaptitudewithSarika ohh, that means the amount we will be paying each year is the 'X' and not the 'X+interest on remaining years'(But anyhow bank gets that sum). So in actual we'll be paying 'X×no. of installments (N)' which is less than the amount that we would've paid at the end of N years. Great I got it . Thanks for clarifying 🙌🏻.
