Read the comments and take them seriously so that it can be a really good program (and service). :) Here a comment from a hungarian FB-group (just I drop it to the google translate now, so.. ): " Apparently it just came out, so there is room for improvement. I think the baker should be reconsidered, a bit weak in the case of high poly, which would be the point. Manipulating the mesh is a great idea, but in order for it to be a valid procedural tool, a lot of development would be needed, if we consider that it is a texturing tool, in which case it is a bit confusing what I would want with the mesh within this workflow. If they solve the bugs and strengthen the engine running under the tool, it could be great! (now it looks like it needs fixing, bakes a more complex mesh for 25 minutes while pushing the RAM usage to 113 GB 😕 gpu at 1%, CPU at 7% ... then it dies) "
@InstaMAT_io7 ай бұрын
@@yugiohyugiohzebuyugi The user actually encountered a bug that was fixed already. It slipped in as a regression before the release. It's difficult to ship a product at this scale! The bug is triggered if the target-mesh is not within the 0..1 UV space. 🥹

Give them all my personal details like name, last name, address, zipcode, etc... (to be leaked at a later date in some hacking incident). 3. Force me to go through a "purchase" process that will probably require me to give them my credit card so they can charge me in case I "do something illegal" 4. Tick several checkboxes where I acknowledge multiple times that "I UNDERSTAND IT IS ILLEGAL TO..." like they're just waiting to pounce me with a lawsuit The software itself seems nice, but it's not nice enough to justify walking through this minefield. The photo/AI integration I think + the integration of procedural geometry node style options looks useful along with it's integration with the existing LOD stuff. Substance killed their procedural modelling and it's no longer supported so I think this may find it's niche if it works. The photo to material stuff looks cool. You can kinda do this in SD but you really need to know the graphs and do your own setup so if this works out of the box for that, I think they may gain some SD users.
